Cambridge School Sports Partnership - In April 2000, the Government published its sports strategy A Sporting Future for All. From this dawned the Physical Education School Sport and Club Links Strategy (PESSCL). Since 2002 the Government has invested a massive 1.5 billion into the 8 projects within this PESSCL Strategy:

The remit of the School Sports Partnership is to help increase young peoples' participation in PE and school sport. The partnership works closely with a total of 53 schools in the Cambridge area.

Cambridge City Council - The Sports Development Service is part of the Active Communities department at the council. We work in partnership with a number of different agencies to coordinate opportunities for people to take part in sport and physical activities, as well as promoting the health benefits of an active lifestyle in line with local and national priorities.

Awards for All - is supported by the Arts Council England, the Big Lottery Fund, the Heritage Lottery Fund and Sport England. We award grants of between £300 and £10,000 for people to take part in art, sport, heritage and community activities, and projects that promote education, the environment and health in the local community.

England BasketballEngland Basketball - England Basketball aims to govern and enhance the sport of basketball in England, to encourage and enable people to participate in basketball regardless of their ability, age, gender, status, disability or ethnic background and to lift the performance and quality of basketball throughout England.
