Street Games
Street Games is a project that provides informal neighbourhood based sports activities for young people. Qualified sports coaches and CHYPPS workers lead the sessions on recreation grounds around the city.
These sessions are informal and free to attend, and include sports such as football, tennis, cricket, dance, basketball, frisbee and multi sports. Sessions generally run during the summer months of June, July and August.
If you’re a young person interested in sport, you might want to get into coaching by helping out at your local Street Games session. Street Games coaches and CHYPPS workers are happy to offer advice to find out how you could get involved as a young volunteer.
